Cookie Policy

When you use Bazaro, we use cookies β€” small text files stored in your browser. Below we explain which cookies we use and why.

1. What cookies are and why we use them

Cookies allow the site to remember your actions and preferences: login state, language settings, search parameters. Without them, you would need to re-enter this information on every visit.

2. Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies

Required for the site to function. Without them, login, saving search filters, and proper page rendering are not possible. These cookies do not require your consent β€” without them the service simply will not work.

  • bazaro_session β€” authentication session (JWT token)
  • bazaro_cookie_consent β€” stores your cookie preference
  • locale β€” selected interface language

Functional cookies

Improve usability: remember selected region, saved search filters, dark/light theme. Activated only with your consent.

Analytics cookies

Help us understand how users interact with the site: which pages they visit, how long they stay, where problems arise. Data is collected in anonymised form. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Third-party services

Bazaro does not connect third-party ad networks or trackers. The only external requests are image loading and map tiles (MapLibre/OpenStreetMap). OpenStreetMap may set its own cookies per its privacy policy.

4. How to manage cookies

You can change your cookie preference at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page or through your browser settings. Note: disabling essential cookies may break site functionality.

Instructions for managing cookies in popular browsers:

  • Chrome β€” Settings β†’ Privacy β†’ Cookies
  • Firefox β€” Settings β†’ Privacy & Security
  • Safari β€” Settings β†’ Privacy

5. Cookie retention

Session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies (preferences, consent) are stored for up to 12 months or until you delete them manually.
